Bangladeshi Link School Visit Sarah Bonnell

At the end of February we were delighted to welcome from Moilvibazar Mr Bijoy and Mrs Waheed, two headteachers , two teachers Mr Singha and Mr Ahad as well as Mr Rahman inspector from the Sylhet region. They spent a week in Newham visiting the three schools in the partnership.
Two days were spent at Sarah Bonnell. The visitors accompanied by student guides toured the school. They attended some lessons and were very interested in the various teaching styles they saw. They were made to feel very welcome by teachers and students alike many of whom were keen to practice their Bengali language.
Presents were exchanged on the last day of their visit we look forward to displaying them in our new area.
Our visitors commented on how much they enjoyed their visit. A big thank you must go to all staff and students who helped to accommodate the visitors.
