Yr 11 Students Step Out In Style At Prom

Tuesday the 29th of June saw the Year 11 celebrate the end of their exams in style. The "Prom 2010" was held at the Thistle Hotel, Marble Arch and its exclusive address reflected its stylish decor and professional staff. This year, the event was co-organised with a local catering and events company, Mahazmi who are based in Forest Gate.
The evening began with drinks and canapes in the reception area followed by a disco and 3 course buffet meal in the Hyde Park Suite.
The girls were looking wonderful as only our girls can. Both the hotel staff and guests commented on how lovely they all looked and how mature and well behaved they were. Many arrived by tube, but a few lucky students arrived like Hollywood A-Listers in Limos and even a Bentley!
During the evening, we had entertainment from a DJ and several numbers by our school choir and soloists.
The night went off without a hitch and ended at 11pm.
I would personally like to thank all of the tutors and staff who helped to supervise the students especially Mr Eason, Ms Rahman and Mr Lindsey for the music. I would also like to thank Afzal and his team at Mahazmi for the lovely food and organisiation.
We look forward to seeing our girls receive their GCSE results in August and again for the Celebration of Achievement in November.
