Categories: General News

On Monday 5 July Ms Vuyo Gawe and I went to the annual LGfL Schools Conference at the Emirates Stadium. Ms Gawe was nominated for the Use of The London MLE in a Secondary Context award.
Ms Gawe went on to win the award which she won for using the London MLE for the innovative deliverance of the Sex and Relationships Education curriculum. Everyone at Sarah Bonnell is incredibly proud of Ms Gawe’s work with the London MLE and congratulate on her achievement and success.

Just to say well done for your excellent achievement Vu, not only is the use of ICT an essential part of learning in the modern day, in an area like Sexual Health and Relationships Education it offers that anonymous space where learners can interact in confidence without fear, victimisation or stereotyping no matter what their problems are. To realise the true potential of this learning scope and maximising its interactive potential was a good thing on your part. I’m sure in these days of HIV/AIDS such initiatives give the girls a fighting chance out there. Well done on your efforts! GUS - ICT
