Voices of Sarah Bonnell

Read about what our girls say about Sarah Bonnell

"When I first came into Sarah Bonnell (in the middle of Year 8) I made friends so quickly and felt like I truly was part of the school in a matter of seconds!"

Sarah Bonnell has given me many opportunities such as, being part of Amnesty International Club, which led to us winning a National Youth Award naming us as the best campaigners in the United Kingdom. I have also won the Jack Petchey award for outstanding achievement and I feel very honoured to win such a prestigious award. Alongside this, I have also won two Drama Awards and an Art Award. This would not have been possible without the help from my teachers pushing me to my limits and helping me to be the best I can be.

Although I am in a wheelchair, I get treated as equally as everyone else does and the school facilitates to whatever needs I have. I am also a Peer Mentor and a Prefect. I am proud to say that I’m part of Sarah Bonnell and when I come to school I look forward to what’s going to happen. I enjoy every aspect of school.
