All parents will agree that the safety of their child is paramount. In this modern world we live in shielding our children from every danger has become increasingly difficult.

Educating our students with practical advice, and guidelines on all aspects of self protection is something we take very seriously. Equipping the girls with a ‘Mental Handbook' that becomes second nature to them can only help towards their understanding, of the importance of this subject.

The two areas we have touched upon are:

Internet Safety

A film called ‘Jenny's Story' highlighted the implications of chatting to a stranger on the internet, who then ultimately wins your trust. This in turn puts the person at great risk of being hurt, which is what happened to ‘Jenny'. The film is based on a true story, and is played by an actress. Further information about the film can be obtained from the following website http://www.childnet-int.org/
