Access and Inclusion

The Access and Inclusion Learning Area at Sarah Bonnell School aims to support students who have additional learning needs. We assist students in the following ways:

• providing daily support for any additional needs
• helping learning areas to raise achievement for students from ethnic minority groups
• meeting the needs of students with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties
• developing inclusive resources
• providing trained staff to support students in their learning
• enabling students that are new to England to integrate successfully
• helping students with medical needs to access the school
• providing external support services to work with students
• providing support groups for learning
• working in learning areas with teachers
